Call for Research Spotlights:

The Canadian Studies Network-Réseau d'études canadiennes is expanding opportunities for graduate student networking and research promotion. As part of this initiative, this page has been added to the website that spotlights graduate student research. The network is seeking write-ups of graduate student research-related activities and/or projects to be featured in the coming months. This may include a description of your MA or PhD thesis, an article you are working on for a journal or an edited collection, a recent or forthcoming chapter, or a conference presentation. The parameters are flexible,so please reach out with any questions about a potential project or activity.

The write-up should be a maximum of 500 words, and must be accompanied by a brief author bio that tells readers a bit about the researcher(s). Images and weblinks related to the submission are welcome and bilingual texts are encouraged. The write-ups will appear on the website and be circulated on social media. Submitting a write-up offers a great way to practice distilling your researchin an accessible way for a broad audience, and provides the potential for members to establish interesting research connections and contacts. For further information, or if you are interested in submitting a spotlight for the website, please contact Emma Croll-Baehre at This email address is being protected from spambots.
