BACS CONFERENCE, 24-26 APRIL 2025
With special thanks to Dr James Kennedy and the Centre for Canadian Studies at Edinburgh University, the BACS Council is delighted to confirm the details of the 50th Anniversary Conference being held in Edinburgh from 24 to 26 April 2025.

Please note -
Conference registration includes BACS membership for 2025. Membership can also be purchased via Eventbrite for anyone not attending the conference.
The British Journal of Canadian Studies can be purchased for a reduced rate via Eventbrite.
Accommodation is not included in the cost of the conference. For accommodation suggestions please see below.
Attendees entitled to the concessions rate include students, retirees and the unwaged.
PhD students and early career scholars (within 3 years of their PhD) who are presenting a paper at the conference are also entitled to the concessions rate and can claim reimbursement of the remaining cost of the conference after they have delivered their paper.
