Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) Emerging Scholars Group
The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) Emerging Scholars Group is welcome to all graduate students and early-career scholars engaging in work relating to the field of Canadian Studies. The overarching purpose of the ACSUS Emerging Scholars group is to support an interdisciplinary community that will provide a platform for students and early-career scholars to engage in collaborative endeavors, share innovative ideas, and foster mentorship relationships with established academics. The group will act as a supportive network, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and resources among emerging scholars.
ACSUS invites proposals for papers for the Emerging Scholars Colloquium, to be held in conjunction with the 2025 biennial conference on November 14-15, 2025, in Seattle, WA. Further details, including the Call for Papers, can be found on the conference page of the ACSUS website.
In addition to the colloquium, the ACSUS Emerging Scholars Group will be organizing virtual workshops and initiatives throughout 2025. All graduate students and early-career scholars are encouraged to participate. To be added to the mailing list, please contact President/Spokesperson
