Announcing the Release of a new issue of the Journal of New Brunswick Studies/Revue d’études sur le Nouveau-Brunswick (Fall 2024)
Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Editorial Board of the Journal of New Brunswick Studies/Revue d’études sur le Nouveau-Brunswick (JNBS/RÉNB) I am pleased to announce that Volume 16, No. 2 (Fall 2024) is now available.
This issue contains articles by Rachel Bryant (UNBSJ) on Moses Perley's sporting sketches and Veronique Chadillon-Farinacci (UdeM) & Gilbert McLaughlin (Liverpool Hope University) on prejudice against political candidates in the 2020 New Brunswick provincial election; Invited Essays by Bonnie Huskins (UNB) on a tribute to the late Dr. Elizabeth Mancke, and by Geoff Martin (Mount Allison) on the finances of New Brunswick's municipal reform, one year on; and a book review by Sarah Glassford (University of Windsor) of Lost in the Crowd: Acadian Soldiers of Canada's First World War.
This issue also contains a tribute to the late Dr. Bill Parenteau, by Mark McLaughlin (University of Maine) which was published a few months ago.
