The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, St. Thomas university, seeks candidates with a demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and a familiarity with critical criminology and criminal justice studies as they relate to marginalized populations, including but not limited to
Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, LGBTQ2IA+, and youth-at-risk. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three courses per term, including, but not limited to:
Introduction to Criminology and Introduction to Criminal Justice. The ability to teach courses in
quantitative methods and in the Department’s Child & Youth Studies stream would be an asset.
