The Association of Canadian Studies in Ireland (ACSI) biennial conference - Les Frontières et Au-delà / Borders and Beyond (May 2021)
The Association of Canadian Studies in Ireland (ACSI) will be holding its next biennial conference - Les Frontières et Au-delà / Borders and Beyond - online this May (13th and 14th). Keynote speakers include Perrine Leblanc (Écrivaine Québécoise), Professor Jane Koustas (Brock University) and Dr Axel Meisen (University of British Columbia). Queen's University Belfast will be hosting it.
The conference was originally planned to be held on campus in 2020, but had to be postponed due to the outbreak of the pandemic. We are delighted that the original presenters have supported us in rolling the programme forward online this May. The conference will run from 11am to 7pm each day (local time). This is to best afford an opportunity for delegates from a variety of regions to join us.
As the conference will be virtual, the normal fee has been waived. Registration for is free, using the following link:
I would be very grateful if you could please circulate details of the conference among your membership. I have attached a poster with further details. We do hope you and your colleagues can join us. Further details of the final programme will be published on ACSI's web site soon.
With best wishes,
Dr Niall Majury
