We are inviting proposals from junior and established scholars from a wide range of disciplinary, regional, thematic, and methodological backgrounds, whose research involves immigration, ethnicity, transnationalism, and/or diaspora. Proposals should engage with the conference theme: "Victim, Symbol, or Actor? Middle Eastern Migrants in Transnational Perspectives"

 

In addition to panel discussions, the conference will feature a keynote address by Dr. Angie Heo (University of Chicago).
